Who we are

Exile Distribution Pty Ltd, 71 Gipps Street, Collingwood, Victoria, Australia 3066 Contact: a@alexiouzas.com

For the purposes of the GDPR, we are the "data controller" of personal information collected through the Sites.

What information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, project/film details, budget information, and any other details you submit through booking forms, our scheduling tool (Calendly), or by contacting us.

  • Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with our pages. This is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Segmetrics Pixel.

  • Information from third parties: where you reach us through an advertising platform (such as Meta), we may receive limited information about how you interacted with our ads.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health data) and ask that you do not submit it. Information about your film's budget or financing is used solely to assess fit for our services and is not treated as regulated financial-product data.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • schedule and conduct consultation calls you request;

  • respond to enquiries and provide our services and programs;

  • send you information about our programs and related content (where permitted, and which you can opt out of at any time);

  • measure and improve the performance of our advertising and Sites;

  • comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR): we process your information on the basis of your consent (e.g. for marketing and non-essential cookies/tracking), to take steps at your request before entering a contract (e.g. booking a call), to perform a contract, and for our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business, balanced against your rights.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Our Sites use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel & Segmetrics Pixel, to understand how visitors use our pages and to measure and optimize our advertising. The Meta Pixel may share certain information with Meta Platforms, Inc. for these purposes.

Where required by law (including for visitors in the EU/UK), we will seek your consent before setting non-essential cookies or tracking technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of certain ad-related tracking through Meta's ad settings and tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-outs.

How we share your information

We share personal information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Sites and our business, including our scheduling provider (Calendly), funnel/hosting provider (ClickFunnels), email and marketing platform (Kit), and analytics/advertising tools (including Meta & Segmetrics). These providers process data on our behalf under contract.

  • Advertising platforms (such as Meta) for measurement and optimization, as described above.

  • Legal and safety reasons, where required to comply with law or protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising platforms may be considered "sharing" or "selling" under California law (CCPA/CPRA); you can opt out as described below.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries outside your own, including Australia and the United States, which may have different data protection laws. Where we transfer personal information out of the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described, or as required by law, after which we delete or de-identify it.

Your rightS

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;

  • correct inaccurate information;

  • request deletion of your information;

  • object to or restrict certain processing;

  • withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent);

  • opt out of marketing communications;

  • California - opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights;

  • EU/UK - lodge a complaint with your data protection authority;

  • Australia - complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [a@alexiouzas.com]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Children

The Sites are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
