About
Most debut feature films don’t fail because of talent.
They fail because they’re mis-sequenced.
Budgets are built before the finance plan is defined.
Distributors are approached without positioning.
Packaging happens without real strategy.
And financing becomes a scramble instead of a system.
I teach filmmakers how to avoid that.
What I Do
I help ambitious filmmakers finance their debut feature films using a structured, proven financing system built on real producer experience.
This isn’t theory…
It isn’t motivation…
And it isn’t vague career advice.
It’s a practical, strategic framework for turning a script into a financed, produced and distributed feature film.
Why I Teach This
As a producer, I’ve seen firsthand how difficult (and opaque) feature film financing can be.
I’ve also seen how small structural mistakes early in development compound into major problems later.
Most filmmakers are talented.
What they lack is:
Correct Sequencing
Properly priced film
Capital raising strategy
Market positioning
That gap is what I built my financing system to solve.
Over 100 filmmakers have gone through my programs.
More than 20 have produced their debut feature films.
The goal isn’t to promise outcomes.
The goal is to give you a real structure.
My Background
I’m an ex-lawyer turned film producer who was trying to figure out how to get films made.
Over the past decade, I’ve produced and released 12 feature films, sold projects to distributors globally (including Netflix), premiered at major festivals like Venice and navigated the realities of raising capital in a market that rarely makes it easy.
Along the way, I realised something.
Most talented filmmakers weren’t failing because of ability.
They were failing because no one had taught them how financing actually works.
There was no clear architecture.
No sequencing logic.
No investor frameworks.
Just fragmented advice and blind optimism.
So I began formalising what I was learning in the field; first for myself, then for other filmmakers.
That framework eventually became the financing system I teach today.
What This Is — And What It Isn’t
This is structured education and strategic guidance.
You will learn how to:
Package your film properly
Align your project with real market buyers
Design a finance plan that makes sense
Find and approach investors strategically
Sequence your steps intelligently
This is not a producing service.
I do not attach myself to your films.
I do not pitch your project for you.
And I do not promise financing outcomes.
You remain the producer.
I teach you how to move and operate like one.
The Bigger Picture
Financing your debut feature film isn’t just about getting one project made.
It’s about launching your career on solid ground.
A debut feature sets your trajectory.
It shapes your reputation.
It defines your leverage.
Done strategically, it becomes the foundation of a sustainable filmmaking career.
Done impulsively, it becomes a hard lesson.
My work exists to help you build it properly.
About Exile
My production company, Exile Entertainment, develops and produces feature films independently of this education platform.
This site is dedicated solely to teaching and strategic guidance for filmmakers financing their debut features.
The two are intentionally separate.
If You’re Serious
If you’re working toward your debut feature film and you want to approach financing strategically rather than emotionally you’re in the right place.
